A conference will be held in Birmingham this weekend to help develop, support and promote photographers based in the region.

Frame Creatives will be holding the Frame14 conference at the Custard Factory to give experienced and aspiring photographers guidance and knowledge.

Some of the topics to be covered by industry experts will be copyrighting, web development, personal practice, exhibiting and networking. The conference is supported by Custard Factory, Royal Photographic Society, Birmingham Loves Photography, Fotofilia and PAiL.

Speakers include award-winning Stratford-upon-Avon-based advertising and portrait photographer Lorentz Gullachsen, who has spent 25 years in the industry.

Frame Creatives is a group set up to stimulate the growth of Birmingham’s photographic community.

Tickets for the conference, which takes place on Saturday April 12, cost £20 for students and £25 for non-students. Entry to the trade show is free.
