Birmingham-based creative agency Fluid has beaten off national competition to win the contract to design the new website for record label Chrysalis.

Fluid won the work after a multi-agency pitch process and will oversee the entire project including design, build and implementation.

The agency has a track record of working with the music industry and has produced artwork and design for labels such as Sony, Parlaphone and EMI.

Chrysalis’s website is being given a complete face-lift to create a contemporary digital presence for the UK’s largest independent music publisher.

Users can expect simpler, slicker visuals, improved functionality and connectivity with all the relevant social media.

Fluid creative director James Glover said: “Fluid has been working within the music industry for over 14 years now and we’re all really passionate about the sector.

“Chrysalis are a forward-thinking fiercely independent company and we’re genuinely excited to be involved with this project”

Designer Jonny Costello said: “Chrysalis has a large and diverse roster of really exciting artists.

“What we wanted to do was create an information portal that was modern, clean and information-led.

“Based on the blog aesthetic the new site will ensure that users can easily access the latest up-to-the minute info on artists, albums and tours.”
