Midland digital agency Fish in a Bottle has launched its first website for Talkback Thames, promoting new online sitcom Toyboize.

Toyboize is the creation of comedy group Navelgazing and features The Office’s Jamie Deeks and Ewen MacIntosh.

The show follows the fortunes of an 80’s preteen pop band 20 years after their first taste of fame. Ricky Gervais and Navelgazing wrote and recorded the show’s theme tune, I Like U Girl.

As well as the website’s design, Fish in a Bottle have provided technology that allows the team to personally manage the website’s content. Features are designed to place fans of the show close to Toyboize through emails, blogs, forums and newsletters.

Justin Eames, managing director of Fish in a Bottle said: “I’m really pleased that our first project for Talkback Thames is in support of such an innovative production. Toyboize is brilliantly funny and Navelgazing are putting a lot into engaging and involving their viewers. It’s very exciting for us to be able to apply our creativity and technology to help that happen.”
