The producer of a popular BBC2 travel programme will offer tips to Birmingham documentary makers this week.

Kerry Richardson, who worked on Around The World in 80 Gardens, will be presenting a "Users' Guide" to the series for the Royal Television Society, West Midlands this Wednesday.

The programme was shot in High Definition and followed presenter Monty Don on his travels to find world-class gardens.

Gardens featured included the Alhambra, the gardens of the Taj Mahal in India and the gardens of Villa D'Este in Italy.
