Businesses from across the West Midlands have been benefiting from expert advice to help improve their IT skills.
EBusiness Adoption is part of IT Futures at the University of Wolverhampton, and helps small and medium-sized companies from the tourism, leisure and hospitality sectors, at no cost.
To help spread the word about the help it can offer, the eBusiness Adoption team has been running a series of regional seminars.
Diana Thompson, business director of IT Futures, said: "We have been inundated with requests for places on our seminars which have taken place all over the region, including sessions in Stoke-on-Trent, Coventry and Telford.
"The response from the delegates has been excellent, with many saying the training has made a real difference to their understanding of the benefits IT skills can bring to their business."
Funded by regional development agency Advantage West Midlands, the eBusiness Adoption team can help with website design and development, IT training and demonstrations, educational guides and a dedicated support helpline.
Just 12 months after its launch, client research has shown that the project is proving invaluable in helping small businesses make the most of technology.
"All our regional events were targeted at a wide range of businesses, and we specifically kept the number of delegates low so that everyone could receive one-to-one support from our trainers.
"As the seminars have been so successful, we will now be considering expanding the programme of events to help even more companies maximise their opportunities through modern technology," said Mrs Thompson.
EBusiness Adoption has a team of in-house web designers and developers who are helping to support the growth of the tourism and leisure industries through the use of internet technologies.
