Brilliant Media has been appointed as the media agency in the UK market for German-owned shoe retailer Deichmann Shoes.
Deichmann is a privately-owned business and is the largest footwear retailer in Europe, with more than 2,800 outlets, and has ambitious growth plans for the UK where it currently has 37 stores.
It operates in 19 countries and first entered the UK market in 2001.
Andy Underwood, UK operations director for the firm, said: “We are keen to grow our brand in the UK and have an extensive store opening programme in hand. With Brilliant as our partner we are certain we will succeed”
The business will be managed out of Brilliant’s Birmingham office, which is run by managing director Paul Bramwell who launched the office two years ago and has grown billings to £10 million.
