An award-winning West Midland photographer will celebrate his 2,500th wedding shoot by sharing the secrets of his success.

David Wadley, of Sutton Coldfield, will share his tips with hundreds of photographers on creating memorable images of the bride, groom and guests at the Ten2One series of seminars staged by the Masters Photographers Association (MPA).

He will join a panel of industry experts at the MPA's events in Croydon, Coventry, and Bradford, from June 30 to July 15.

Mr Wadley, aged 52, has been capturing images of couples across Birmingham, Solihull, Warwickshire and Staffordshire for more than 30 years and will celebrate shooting his 2,500th wedding this summer.

He began his career in 1977, has won over 30 regional and national awards and lectured for the MPA, Fuji and Kodak for the past 20 years.

Mr Wadley, who runs his business form his Sutton Coldfield home, said: "It is an honour to be invited to speak at the Master Photographers Association seminars because it recognises that I am one of the leading wedding photographers in the country.

"To be associated with so many experts in areas such as public relations, advertising, portraits, and fashion photography is very satisfying.

"Although I've been covering weddings for more than 30 years it is something I never get tired of and still love almost every minute."

The key to get the best images is to remain calm, relaxed and keep an informal atmosphere, Mr Wadley added.
