The Convergence Group which supplies communications services throughout the UK has appointed Birmingham PR and marketing communications agency Wyatt International to handle its media relations.

Wyatt secured the contract with the Warwick company following a multi-agency pitch.

It is now responsible for co-ordinating and implementing Convergence’s strategic PR campaign.

Wyatt’s main objective will be to support continued brand and profile building as well as generating awareness of the company’s capabilities among target industry sectors.

Neal Harrison, commercial director of the Convergence Group, which provides IP and Data network solutions, said: “We were very impressed by the way the team approached the brief and knew immediately that we wanted to work with them. Services include remote access internet based security solutions and network based Microsoft Exchange services. The group provides tailor made packages depending on the need of the organisation.
