Marketing communications firm CHM has boosted its team with the appointment of Chris Gothard as full-time creative director.

The move comes as the company is celebrating a 35 per cent increase in turnover and is transferring to larger offices in the Jewellery Business Centre.

Having freelanced as a Mac designer for the firm since early 2006, CHM managing director Craig Holden decided to take Chris on permanently to cope with the growth of the business.

“Chris started working remotely with us at first, then two days a week, gradually upping it until the time came when it made good business sense to get him on board full time.

“He is a superb designer with a broad range of experience and has brought a number of new clients with him.”

New recruit Chris Gothard said: “We first met at another agency in 1994 and our paths kept crossing. It’s great to finally cement that working relationship 14 years on.”

CHM counts Redcliffe Contract Catering, Anthony Collins Solicitors and Halesowen-based Universal Automotive among its clients.
