Midlands IT company Acutec has ended 2013 with a hat-trick of new contracts worth close to £100,000 collectively.

The Coleshill-based firm, which specialises in managed IT services to software and web development, has landed deals with two Walsall-based companies – Jones and Woolman; and Valen Fittings – as well as Jarrobs Limited in Stoke-on-Trent.

Acutec has grown rapidly over the past 12 months which has seen the creation of several new roles at its Warwickshire base.

The latest new contracts, which include the provision of a range of services from back-up to full support for the company databases, have sealed a positive year for the IT company.

Managing director Chris Roche said: “We have set ourselves very ambitious growth targets and the team are working extremely hard to achieve that growth.

“That growth comes from our ever-improving service for our clients as well as in winning new business.

“So we are delighted to have secured three new contracts as we approach the end of 2013. Our geographical spread takes us right across the Midlands and beyond.”

Mr Roche added: “We are very much looking forward to working with our new clients and while a great deal of our work can be done remotely and virtually, we still pay great attention to personal service.

“People still want to deal with people and that service is firmly built into our strategy for growth as we approach 2014.”
