The Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is looking to identifying potential new board members
LEPs are private-public partnerships designed to boost local economies and help create more jobs, and Coventry and Warwickshire’s is one of the most active in the country.
There are currently eight members from the private sector, six from the public sector and one each from the area’s two universities.
The LEP is keen to hear from business people eager to play a leading role in the initiative.
Denys Shortt, chair of the LEP, said: “We have a very good board with a wide range of expertise and experience.
“It has helped get the LEP off to a very good start and we are now building on that with a series of initiatives designed entirely to help the prosperity of this area.
“We are after energetic leaders who can contribute to what is a very fast moving and dynamic organisation.”
Expressions of interest (with a brief biography) should be submitted before 5pm on Monday, November 14. They should be sent to the CW LEP Chief Operating Officer, Louise Bennett on email@example.com.
All expressions of interest will be considered by a sub-group of the CW LEP Partnership Board and Delivery Board and potential new CW LEP Board Members will be notified by the end of November.
