Construction firms in the West Midlands are being urged to take advantage of an opportunity to build new relationships with five export markets from across the world.

UK Trade & Investment - a government organisation that helps UK-based companies succeed in the global economy - is holding a free Construction Opportunities Roadshow in Solihull to help firms in the area make the most of “exciting” construction opportunities in Brazil, Russia, Turkey, Mexico and the Gulf region.

Companies attending will be able to understand the new business opportunities in the five new “rapidly growing” export areas, and gain specific advice from expert trade advisers on developing new contacts.

Commerce, who is leading the event, said: “Rapid growth in the construction sector in these five markets offers huge opportunities for West Midlands companies.

“This interactive event will give them valuable information about the new business that they could win.

“I would urge anyone interested in finding out more about these opportunities - and how we can help them develop their export business - to book their place now.”

The event is taking place on April 14 at the Corus Hotel, Solihull, from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
