The Birmingham office of property consultancy CBRE has promoted three staff to associate director level.

The surveyors taking the step up comprise Lorna Devane-Porter who joined CBRE in 2012.

She works in the national land and development agency team and her role includes site acquisition and disposals, the production of viability and market reports and undertaking affordable housing sales.

She advises landowners, house builders and commercial developers and earlier this year was a finalist in the Birmingham Young Professional of the Year competition.

Also promoted are Eliot Smith and James White who both work in the global workplace solutions team.

Mr Smith has notched up six years of service and handles HSBC Bank's property portfolio while Mr White has been with the firm for more than three years and is responsible for managing the TSB Bank portfolio.

Managing director in Birmingham Martin Guest said: "Lorna, Eliot and James are highly regarded colleagues and respected advisers to their respective clients.

"Their promotion reflects the hard work they put into their roles."
