A trade association has chosen Solihull as the new location for its national headquarters by taking space at one of the area’s prime office developments.

The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors, which provides business services to the plumbing and heating industry, will house 15 staff at unit 12 of the Pavilions development, following a move from their previous premises in Coventry.

Clive Dickin, chief executive officer for the APHC, said: “The Association is entering a new era and these new premises will allow us to provide our rapidly growing membership with an efficient service.”

Adrian Griffith, of GVA Grimley, sole lettings agent for the scheme, added: “This exceptional development offers businesses more than just Grade A office accommodation. The high build quality is comparable to that of typical headquarter premises, which is why it is proving popular with businesses looking for a self-contained solution in a well connected location. “Because of its well established commercial environment and wealth of nearby amenities, the Pavilions is an ideal choice. Its popularity is clear with other companies showing interest in the remaining available units and unit 2 is now under offer.”

Developed by Miller Developments, part of the Miller Group, phase one of the scheme features 12 units totalling 38,843 sq ft, providing flexible office space for the discerning commercial market. Eight self-contained two storey units remain available on both a leasehold and freehold basis extending from 1,858 sq ft to 8,537 sq ft.
