A newly refurbished industrial facility in West Bromwich – equivalent in size to The Hawthorns football ground – is on offer through Black Country property specialists Bulleys.
The 34,424 sq ft unit and 46,000 sq ft shared yard at Howard Street Industrial Estate, close to the Black Country New Road, has been refurbished by owners Entity Business Space, the property arm of a famous Black Country family firm.
J&J Siddons' origins lie in the foundry business in the Hill Top area in 1846. Its foundry still employs 90, but Entity is now a major contributor to the business with a sizeable commercial property portfolio.
The group has been operating from its Siddons Factory Estate site since 1876 and acquired the adjacent Howard Street Industrial Estate 12 years ago. Entity has invested in a major refurbishment of this last remaining unit on the six-acre estate, with new roof lights, lighting, cladding and roller shutter doors. It is just three miles from junction 1 of the M5.
Adam Priest, senior surveyor at the Oldbury office of Bulleys, said the units will be suitable for warehousing, distribution or manufacturing.
"Units six and seven are ideal for companies looking for superior quality accommodation with car parking and communal loading/unloading in a secure environment."
"We are marketing the units on flexible lease terms and at just £2.50 per sq ft, this represents the best value in the area," he claimed.
