The landlord and agents of Solihull’s latest offices scheme have welcomed another tenant following a £2.4 million makeover of the building by owners Associated Independent Stores.
Finnish steel producer Ruukki UK Ltd has taken a self-contained suite in Cranmore Place, in Cranmore Drive, Shirley.
Ruukki has completed its fit out on the first floor of the building having has relocated to more modern accommodation from its previous offices in the Solihull area. Ken Salway, of Salway Bradbury represented both the tenant and the landlord.
Ruukki UK Ltd is part of the Rautaruukki Corporation which supplies metal-based components, systems and integrated systems to the construction and engineering industries.
From the Solihull office Ruukki Metals supplies a wide selection of steel, special products, parts and components, whilst Ruukki Engineering supplies metal-based solutions for lifting, handling and transportation equipment industry, for paper, wood and energy as well as marine and offshore industries.
Ken Salway described the deal, together with another letting to Foster Denovo Ltd as “significant lettings in a difficult climate” and said they proved that there were still companies looking for move forward during the credit crunch.
