A deal has been closed for a new headquarters building in Warwick.
Sackville Properties, the developer of Tournament Fields business park in the town, has completed the investment sale of the new landmark home of Geberit, a Swiss sanitary ware company which recently moved to the area.
The 12,500 sq ft, two-storey building, which is now home to around 30 staff, has been sold to local businessman Peter Wilson, in a £2.4 million deal.
Andrew Wall, of Wareing & Company, who acted for Sackville, said the transaction underlined that investment deals were still achievable despite the market.
He said: “Investors are still interested in quality buildings in the right location and this totally fits that bill. Tournament Fields is very close to the M40, is well located for Warwickshire and the West Midlands, while Sackville have maintained a quality approach to design and construction. Those factors combined with an internationally-renowned tenant, have made this a very attractive proposition.”
Sackville has attracted a host of companies to the adjacent Tournament Court.
