Project managers at Rider Levett Bucknall have added another landlord to their growing retail client base.
The practice has been appointed by AEGON Asset Management to project manage the first phase of a multi-million pound development in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
Work at the Banbury Cross retail park is scheduled to begin in the next two months and will be completed at the end of the year.
Mark Weaver, managing partner of the firm’s Birmingham headquarters says he is confident that the team’s ability to understand the constraints and complexities involved in such developments, coupled with its expertise and skills, will lead to further appointments in the future.
He said: “Developments such as Banbury Cross often involve a number of challenges, and this one is no exception. The retail park will remain tenanted throughout the revamp which itself raises a number of issues including health and safety as well as ensuring footfall is kept up.”
