Serviced office provider Orega has signed a deal to lease up to 20,000 sq ft at Colmore Plaza – and has already lined up its first tenant MA Energy.
The ten-year joint venture management agreement with landlord The Carlyle Group will see Orega operating a serviced business centre, which will be branded ‘Colmore Plaza Executive’.
Situated on the mezzanine and part of the ground floor of the building, the space will be fitted out with up to 244 workstations, a reception area with shared seating areas and flexible meeting rooms holding up to 20 people theatre style.
Colmore Plaza Executive will be followed by 17,000 sq ft of Orega managed space at The Carlyle Group’s Three Piccadilly Place, developed by Argent, in Manchester.
Paul Finch, joint managing director of Orega, said: “Both choices meet our desire to select highly distinctive and well-located office buildings for our new business centres.
“This deal gives us a pivotal position in two of the UK’s most important office locations.”
