Commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has appointed a new associate director to its industrial and logistics agency team in Birmingham.

Matthew Tilt joins from Wolverhampton-based chartered surveyors Bulleys where he has worked for seven years including managing its Telford office since 2010.

He began his career at chartered surveyor Towler Shaw Roberts after gaining a MSc in real estate management at the University of Central England.

Head of LSH in Birmingham Adam Ramshaw said: "The industrial and logistics sector in Birmingham and right across the Midlands is extremely active and we expect it to remain so for some considerable time.

"Matthew has invaluable experience in the sector and is a very welcome addition to our team."

In addition, industrial agency director Alex Carr will be part of a new team in the capital in the new year.

He will join head of industrial and logistics division Steve Williams to create the new team alongside Nick Lloyd, head of capital markets.

Mr Carr has worked for eight years in the West Midlands industrial, warehouse and distribution market and the trio will create a dedicated sector specialist service for clients, offering high-quality investment agency, consultancy, funding and occupational advice in the industrial and logistics sector.
