Bruntwood has seen a further 10,000 sq ft of lettings at its recently refurbished Mclaren Building.

The new lettings include Equita, which has taken 1,367 sq ft and Victim Support, which has secured 1,573 sq ft while Russell Jones Walker, which has been a Bruntwood customer for over five years, has also taken a new lease and expanded its footprint at Mclaren to 7,111 sq ft.

Darren Hackett, head of premises and facilities management at Russell Jones Walker said: “We knew that we wanted to stay with Bruntwood and within Mclaren. As we expanded we outgrew the space so when the opportunity came up to take a new lease, we redesigned the office to give it a new look in keeping with our other national sites.”

Peter Crowther, development director of Bruntwood warmly welcomed both Bruntwood’s new and renewed customers: “It’s heartwarming that in such a tough market we’re seeing customers renewing, expanding and joining.

“The strength of our new lettings and our double the national average retention rate indicates that businesses really appreciate our first-rate customer service and great value space,” Mr Crowther said.

Carol McKay, senior service delivery manager with Victim Support, added: “With its location close to the city’s criminal justice centre including the Magistrates’ Court, Crown Court and West Midlands Police headquarters, Mclaren is absolutely ideal for us given that we work closely with these organisations.

“Consolidating our Ladywood, Erdington and Moseley offices into one central place enables us to offer a more accessible location for both our customers and staff.”
