A major new industrial and warehouse development in Coventry has secured its first occupant before the practical completion of the scheme.
The ioCentre, which is situated off the A45 Fletchamstead Highway, is being created by the ioGroup to offer a range of high-specification units for B1(c), B2 and B8 uses.
A Coventry-based clothing manufacturer has bought the first unit on the first phase of the development and is set to move in later this month. The company has purchased the unit by way of a virtual freehold on a 999-year lease.
Seven units are now available ranging from 5,000 sq ft to 17,500 sq ft either to let or for sale on a virtual freehold basis.
The ioCentre is located on the Coventry Business Park in a landscaped environment, where each unit benefits from on-site car parking.
Coventry-based commercial property specialists Shortland Horne have been appointed as agents on the scheme with King Sturge.
A second phase of the development is offering companies design and build opportunities for units up to 21,000 sq ft.
