A management consultancy company with its headquarters in Germany has taken space at one of Birmingham's best-known office developments as it looks to expand its UK business.

Management Engineers (UK) moves to Brindleyplace after financial giant Deutsche Bank agreed last month to take all 70,000 sq ft of One Brindleyplace.

The Dusseldorf-based management consultancy has taken more than 5,00 sq ft on the fourth floor at nearby Three Brindleyplace.

According to Ian Clark, asset manager for developer Argent, the decision of both companies to come to Brindleyplace is testament to the estate's reputation as the city's premier business destination.

"The decision by Management Engineers and Deutsche Bank to locate their first Birmingham offices in Brindleyplace is a real coup for us and reflects its broad appeal to a range of different organisations," he says.

"One Brindleyplace offers one of the world's premier financial institutions the right accommodation for a new regional headquarters while at Three Brindleyplace we were able to provide the flexibility to satisfy the needs of a specialised company like Management Engineers.

"As well as having some of the best grade A space in the city, we also work hard at Brindleyplace to maintain extremely high standards of cleanliness and safety as well as ensuring the leisure offer in terms of bars and restaurants is unsurpassed in Birmingham.

"The two moves clearly shows that these high standards have a global appeal."

His enthusiasm is shared by Paul Sloman, UK managing director at Management Engineers (UK), who says: "After deciding to expand in Birmingham it was important to find the right accommodation and Brindleyplace offers high-quality office space as well as one of the most prestigious addresses outside of London."
