Property investment and management company Skelton Group has acquired four new industrial properties in the West Midlands with financial backing from The Royal Bank of Scotland.

Skelton Group was established in 2001 by Duncan Moss, chairman, and is based in London. The business specialises in asset management and has recently completed a number of projects, including Broadway Plaza in Birmingham and Langley Park in Chippenham, which have subsequently been sold.

Skelton Group viewed the West Midland portfolio of industrial sites as an ideal acquisition with strong asset management, and development, opportunities.

The main properties include Castle Mill Works, Dudley, Bean Road Industrial Estate, Coseley, and Tyseley Business Park. The fourth site, also at Bean Road, is due for demolition with the space then being re-let as open storage.

The management team approached RBS to facilitate the acquisition of this portfolio. Led by Phil Edwards, Patrick Neville, and Nicki Malone, the RBS team worked closely with Duncan and his co-directors.
