A Midland company is planning for the future after securing a new home in Stratford.

Planning and development consultancy Stansgate Planning has relocated to Chase’s development The Courtyard, in Timothy’s Bridge Road, from its previous base in the town centre.

Stansgate Planning, which was set up in 1986, employs ten people and provides developers and land owners with expert planning guidance and support.

The decision to buy the 2,300 sq ft office unit at The Courtyard, which was developed by Chase Midland and is now managed by former directors Tim Haslam and Julian Meredith, was fuelled by the company’s expansion plans.

Keith Williams, a partner at Stansgate Planning, said the site fitted in well with the firm’s expansion plans.

He added: “We chose this site for a variety of reasons and largely because it gives us the capability to expand further as the company continues to develop.”

Becky Yates, from Chase Commercial, said: “Despite the difficult market, the second half of 2009 saw a marked increase in interest in the scheme and we are delighted to have secured Stansgate Planning.”
