Civil engineering firm THDA is moving across the Jewellery Quarter to St Paul's Square.

The company is relocating its office to 40 St Paul's Square in a deal brokered by property agents Bond Wolfe.

Switching from Hylton Street in the Jewellery Quarter, the company is taking just under 2,000 sq ft on the ground floor.

The consultancy specialises in the design of civil engineering infrastructure for development schemes including site layouts, major highways, junctions, roundabouts, roads, drainage and sewerage systems, earthworks modelling and flood risk assessments.

Recent projects include New Century Park in Coventry at the former Marconi site, Browns Lane, also in Coventry on the former HQ of Jaguar Cars, the Wixams Village settlement and mixed-use development in Bedfordshire and the former Kingsnorth Power Station site in Medway.

The deal was agreed within 14 days of Bond Wolfe commencing the marketing of the refurbished modern offices which overlook the historic square.

THDA has agreed a five-year lease.

Bond Wolfe managing partner James Mattin said: "This is a much sought after location, very much in vogue at present with both the residential and commercial market.

"Indeed, St Paul's Square is the place to be and its popularity along with the surrounding Jewellery Quarter has risen dramatically in the last 12 months.

"40 St Paul's Square is a prime example of what forward thinking companies are looking for in office space at the moment.

"Well presented, modern space in a location where people want to come and work yet within walking distance of all the amenities and transport links that staff need."

The grade A office accommodation complete with a retained Art Deco façade provides 23,269 sq ft in total on two floors.

Formerly a buckle maker's factory, it wraps around a central landscaped courtyard.
