Birmingham construction group Colmore Tang has launched a new fit out and interiors division.

Tang Interiors will specialise in fit out and refurbishment for the commercial, retail, restaurant and hospitality sectors.

Headed by operations director Carl Hubbard, the company will work on projects for landlords, private companies and building consultancy teams spanning £250,000 to £20 million.

The firm said it would use 3D design technology to allow customers to visualise the end result and step inside a room utilising virtual reality technology.

Colmore Tang's project in Birmingham including the regeneration of Auchinleck House at Five Ways island to create the Park Regis hotel, new apartments in the former Harrison Drape factory in Digbeth and St George's Urban Village in the Jewellery Quarter.

Mr Hubbard said: "This is another exciting step for Colmore Tang which is a rapidly growing business.

"Our previous experience in the design of interiors is a great platform for us to assist Carl and his team and, while it is a national business, we have through our various group companies extensive contacts in Birmingham and London."
