Logistics and freight management company CEVA has established a flagship freight forwarding facility at Birch Coppice Business Park.

The purpose built 55,000 sq ft warehousing facility developed by IM Properties to incorporate bespoke requirements for CEVA Freight (UK) underwent a fit out investment of £200,000 to embrace the latest technology in global freight management systems.

The relocation to Birch Coppice, alongside junction 10 of the M42 north east of Birmingham, brings together two original Midlands facilities to provide a portfolio of blue chip customers with competitive solutions in road, air and sea freight.

Bryan Hindle, regional manager for CEVA Freight (UK) said: “Location of warehousing is always a critical factor in our industry and Birch Coppice has a high rating.

The benefit of having the rail served Birmingham Intermodal Freight Terminal (BIFT) on site, just a few hundred yards from our new facility fits well with our traditional freight forwarding and gives the flexibility of multi – modal transportation.”
