Void space has dipped to four per cent at Birmingham Business Park after 110,000 sq ft has been let – more than a third of the total transactions in Birmingham’s out of town office space.

During the year since Canmoor acquired Birmingham Business Park, void space has dropped from 17 per cent.

New occupiers include eQ Technologic, Babcock, Longcross Construction and Chalcroft. In addition Capita Business Services has committed to the park in signing a new lease at its building in Knights Court.

Rob Large of Canmoor said: “To have attracted such a range of occupiers since we acquired the site is testament to the quality of the buildings, the superior working environment and, of course, the marketing efforts of our team.

“We had genuine belief that we were acquiring the premier out of town business park in the region and this has been more than illustrated by its great success. I feel absolutely certain that the site will continue to attract further occupiers over the coming months and years as more businesses recognise and appreciate the great facilities here.”
