A Black Country clothing importer and wholesaler moved to new premises as part of its expansion plans.
Absolute Apparel has left Wolverhampton’s Dunstall Hill Estate and relocated to a refurbished 24,241 sq ft unit at the Hill Top Estate in West Bromwich, taking on an extra 7,000 sq ft of space. Both estates are owned and managed by London and Cambridge Properties (LCP).
The company, formed four years ago, employs 20 people. It supplies corporate and promotional uniformed clothing to businesses in the UK. Its customers include screen printers, embroiderers and marketing companies.
Managing director Frank Jheinga said: “We had run out of space at our former premises and with our business expanding we needed to move to bigger premises. We wanted to stay in the Black Country to maintain the team we have. The warehouse at Hill Top is open span, which is better for our high-density distribution business, and we liked the estate’s strategic location.”
Margaret Hopkins, LCP’s marketing director, said: “We were happy to help this growing business to find alternative premises on another of our estates when their property needs changed.”
