London & Cambridge Properties (LCP) has completed its new £1.5 million industrial and warehousing development in the Black Country a month ahead of schedule.

The West Midlands-based property company, which owns and manages industrial, retail and office space across the UK, says purpose-built Progress Point on its flagship Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford, is already attracting inquiries from businesses keen to relocate to the region.

The development comprises 21,000 sq ft of high quality warehouse and industrial space, with three blocks of premium quality units ranging from 1,500 sq ft to 9,000 sq ft.

Andrew Preston, industrial property manager at LCP, said: “There is very little speculative development being built at the moment but LCP felt that there is a strong demand for small industrial units in the Black Country.

“Progress Point offers high quality premises on one of the largest secure industrial estates in Europe and from the serious interest we have received so far, we expect the units to be taken up quickly.”

The Pensnett Estate, which comprises approximately 2.3 million sq ft on a site of 185 acres, provides tenants with 24-hour estate CCTV security and ample free parking.

Existing tenants include Helix, Kennametal, Sven Christiansen, Intralox, Handicare and Booker Cash & Carry.

There is also an additional 25 acres of landset aside for future development of speculative or purpose built premises.
