Students at a Black Country school were given practical assistance to prepare for the world of work thanks to The Midcounties Co-operative.

Four colleagues from the community retailer volunteered their help at Grace Academy Darlaston to host a job application and mock interview session.

Twenty four students aged 16 and 17 took part in the exercise, choosing from a selection of job roles, completing the application forms. James Wain and Simone Sahota, two of the students who were chosen for the jobs, are pictured with Midcounties colleagues Becky Small (left) and Jenny Shorthouse (right).
