A party for Co-op Corporate Bank clients in Birmingham resulted in a £1,050 donation to help life limited youngsters at Acorns Children’s Hospice.
The Coop Bank asked many local businesses who were guests at their party to join them in supporting Acorns, and they readily agreed to donate prizes and money at the event.
John Pointer, senior corporate advisor at Co-op Corporate Bank, said: “We have had a close relationship with Acorns for a long time, and all the staff wanted to support this local charity.”
Acorns’ chairman David Butcher said: “It’s absolutely terrific that the Co-op team turned their Christmas party into a fundraising event for Acorns.”
