A landmark Birmingham building has been restored to its former glory in a major refurbishment project.

Solihull based developer Earlplace has spent a year restoring 11 Waterloo Street, creating five office suites in the Grade II Listed building which corners Waterloo Street and Bennett's Hill. One suite is already let and there is strong interest in the others.

Lawrence Grove, chairman of Earlplace, said: "While this is a commercial project and we have always had the office product at the forefront of our minds, it has also been to some extent a labour of love as the building is now looking wonderful. It is rare to be able to combine fantastic period features with effective office space, but that is what we have achieved."

The work on the building was undertaken by Trills Interiors, part of the Earlplace Group.
