Tickets are on sale for the seventh annual Christmas Celebration concert hosted by the Birmingham and Black Country Community Foundation.
The event will include a performance by the Birmingham Philharmonic Concert Band and the Choir of St Peter’s Collegiate Church on December 2.
Held at Town Hall, the repertoire for the evening includes pieces from Les Miserables, the Glenn Miller in Concert arrangement and A White Christmas combined with old carols which the audience is invited to join in with.
All funds raised by the concert will be donated to local grassroots community projects in Birmingham and the Black Country, including community centre programmes, youth and after-school clubs, theatre groups and recycling schemes.
Zoe Keens development director of BBCF said: “The annual Christmas Celebration Concert is one of the highlights of our events calendar and every year attracts an audience raring to get into the Christmas spirit.
“The wonderful performance is a treat in itself, but even better than the concert is the fact that through ticket sales, sponsorship and generous donations over the last seven years, we have raised more than £50,000 for community projects across Birmingham and Black Country. This underlines the true meaning of giving at this time of year.”
The concert starts at 8pm and tickets, ranging in price from £12 - £20 are available directly from Town Hall box office 0121 780 3333 or online at www.thsh.co.uk.
