Childbase regional director Sue Andrews may be facing the challenge of her life – fighting cancer second time around – but that has not swayed her fund-raising efforts.
Ms Andrews has raised £3,000 for CLIC Sargent, the charity which supports child cancer sufferers and their family, thus far, including a Mad Hatters Tea Party backed by staff and children at Highfield Day Nursery in Edgbaston recently.
She said: “I can’t beat it this time, but while the treatment is going well I want to highlight the incredible work carried out by this charity.”
