Birmingham Settlement has launched its new media shop which has a host of music, collectables, DVDs and much more available to buy – all in the name of charity.

The media shop, which is situated above the existing Sutton Coldfield Birmingham Settlement shop, takes customers back in time as it stocks collectable LPs and 45s. DVDs, CDs and electrical equipment are also on offer at the store.

Caroline Sullivan, Birmingham Settlement shops area manager, said the opening on August 14 was a great success.

She said: “The opening went very well, it was a great day. We had a lot of customers turn up and they were really enthusiastic about it.

“I’m absolutely delighted with how it has all worked out; we have had some really positive feedback. Everybody that came said it was like a blast from the past. Although it is essentially a modern shop, we have collectable items and it is a really relaxed atmosphere. People are free to browse for as long as they like,” she added.
