Staff from a Birmingham law firm have taken a leap of faith by taking part in a parachute jump in support of well deserving charities.

Philip Edwards, Toni Long, Becky Ratcliffe, Lucy Edwards and Sundeesh Kaur from Birmingham-based Irwin Mitchell, took part in the recent skydive.

The daring five braved the terrifying 13,000ft jump, which took place at Hinton Skydiving Centre in Northamptonshire and raised £1,500 to be shared between the Child Brain Injury Trust and Birmingham-based Asbestos Support West Midlands.

Philip Edwards, a partner with the firm said: “Although this is the second sky dive I’ve attempted, the last being three years ago, I was still terrified in the week leading up to the jump imagining all sorts of disasters.”
