Capgemini - one of Shropshire's largest employers - is turning to the West Midlands this summer to recruit graduates into its recently-launched Graduate Academy.
The company, a global leader in IT, consulting, technology and outsourcing, which has offices in Birmingham and Telford, says graduates will no longer have to look outside the area for opportunities with the launch of the Aspire Graduate Development Academy.
Open to graduates from September this year, the 12-month programme, which offers ready-made fast-track development opportunities, will provide challenging opportunities throughout the Aspire business unit, giving individuals the chance to navigate their way through the business and accelerate their personal development. Aspire is the integrated business unit within Capgemini, set up to deliver business and IT services to HM Revenue & Customs.
Capgemini says that the sheer size and scale of Aspire provides a diverse range of technologies, giving graduates the chance to experience the full technology lifecycle in one organisation.
In addition to the graduate programme content, Capgemini is committed to providing continuous learning and development opportunities for all its staff.
Internal and external learning providers offer training support and development in all areas of the business, with many staff benefiting from the programmes run from Capgemini's own university, Les Fontaine near Paris.
Capgemini is seeking graduates with a 2:1 degree.
The induction week starts on September 4.
