Acorns Children’s Hospice is encouraging people to get on their bikes to take up the challenge of cycling 300 miles over 5 days from London to Paris this summer.
The cycle, taking place July11 to 15, is an opportunity for people to challenge themselves and get fit for a worthy local cause.
The long distance cycling route, widely regarded as one of the best in Europe, offers a journey through the picturesque Kent countryside to Dover, then crossing by ferry to Calais. Once in France, participants can enjoy sight-seeing on route with the breeze on their faces, as the adventure ride continues past market towns and battlefields of the Somme and Agincourt, ending at the Eiffel Tower.
To take part, a £99 registration fee and minimum fundraise amount is required.
