A team of 17 employees from Cadbury have taken part in a gruelling team challenge in the Cotswolds to raise money for Help the Hospices.

The team from the Bournville programme management office designed an active day out, including a seven-mile walk in the Cotswolds and a number of competitive games, to raise money for their chosen charity Help the Hospices.

Following the walk, the 17 colleagues split into two teams and adopted Cadbury Spots vs Stripes uniforms. The teams then spent the afternoon competing in a sack races, hula hoop challenges and penalty shoot-outs.

Led by project manager Nina McNamara, the Cadbury team raised £1,268, with the help of the Cadbury Cashmatch scheme, which contributes towards funds raised by employee volunteering.

The money will go towards Help the Hospices, a leading charity supporting hospice care throughout the UK.
