Legendary rugby star Jason Leonard, this year’s president of the Rugby Football Union, was guest of honour at the 25th anniversary of the Midlands Sportsman’s Luncheon at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel organised by sports hospitality agency Eventmasters.
The high-profile event also featured internationals Tim Stimpson, master of ceremonies, and guest speaker John Bentley, along with impressionist and comedian Kevin Connelly.
The event raised a four-figure sum for rugby charity Wooden Spoon.
