Birmingham-based direct mail and print management services company Baker Goodchild has made significant investment in equipment to meet expanding customer needs and requirements.

The company has bought new Konica equipment which follows its recent investment in new Ricoh and Astrojet printing products.

Baker Goodchild is a privately owned company with circa 20 years' experience in providing print, mail and postage services throughout the UK and internationally.

Recently promoted managing director Lorraine Burnell revealed the reasons behind the company's decision to purchase such a significant piece of digital print equipment.

"With the addition of this new equipment, we have not only added to our services but expanded them," she said.

"We feel it is important that we look to not only update, but also increase our options to customers, so we keep ahead of their requirements and can maintain and expand our quick, cost efficient and reliable service turnaround."
