A trio of new directors have joined the board of professional networking group BPS Birmingham.

Andy Cawthray is a director in KPMG’s Midlands practice, specialising in audit and transactions with middle market, private equity-backed businesses and foreign-owned UK companies.

Nina Clewes is the HR lead for HSBC UK for its move out of London to a new home in Birmingham as well as being head of HR for M&S Bank.

Tim Rayner is a partner in the Birmingham office of law Browne Jacobson, specialising in property-related disputes with a strong bias towards commercial property, both advisory and actual or potential litigation.

BPS Birmingham chairman Ahmed Farooq said: “I am delighted to welcome Andy, Nina and Tim to the board.

“All three bring a breadth of experience and knowledge that will undoubtedly strengthen the leadership of our organisation.

“The region and the sector will face significant challenges and opportunities in the coming months and years as we navigate Brexit and operate in a new political landscape locally with an elected mayor.

“BPS Birmingham will play its part ensuring the voice of the sector is heard as these transformational changes fall into place.

“Strengthening and expanding the board of BPS Birmingham at this time will provide us with an opportunity to develop further the offer to our members.”
