Marco Pierre White’s steak restaurant at the top of The Cube in Birmingham has appointed a new head chef.
Rob Pritchett will take the helm at the steakhouse bar and grill at Hotel Indigo on the 25th floor.
He previously worked at hotel restaurants and standalone eateries in Birmingham, Chester, Derby, Coventry and Lichfield serving classic British cuisine.
He said: “I’ve always filtered in and out of Birmingham because of job opportunities around the city but I’m really excited to be working right in the centre.
“There’s so much going on in Birmingham and because of the sheer number of people here and the diversity it’s a great place to be.
“I’ve come to this restaurant because people want to be seen here. You mention the name ‘Marco Pierre White’ and everyone goes ‘Wow!’ He’s one of the chefs I really look up to.”
The restaurant opened 18 months ago and has gained a reputation as a destination both for diners and drinkers with its views over the city.
