Automotive group MG is close to selling out its range of special edition vehicles to mark the brand's 90th birthday.
The Longbridge-based car-maker said most of the 90, limited edition MG3 and MG6 vehicles had now been sold and that, if all were sold within 90 days, one lucky customer would go on to win an MG3.
The MG 90th Anniversary Limited Editions were launched at the MG90 event at Silverstone in June this year where the manufacturer celebrated 90 years of the marque.
More than 15,000 enthusiasts attended the event which featured MG's CS and EV concept vehicles and a collection of current production and historic MGs.
The firm's 90th anniversary year has so far been a resurgent one for the brand.
It has been the fastest-growing automotive brand in 2014 for seven months running, in the wake of the launch of the MG3 Supermini and the arrival of a new cleaner and greener diesel engine for the MG6 family.
In addition, its rapidly expanding dealer network was recently announced as eighth best overall, and second for value of money, in the Auto Express Dealer Power Car Dealers Best and Worst survey.
Since November 2013, 22 new MG dealerships have opened in the UK and further new dealer appointments are expected to be announced soon.
