EFG Independent Financial Advisers, the Birmingham and Wolverhampton-based wealth management firm, held its annual reception for clients, colleagues and intermediaries at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.

Antony Cooke-Yarborough, chief executive officer of EFG Private Bank, welcomed guests with some pertinent thoughts on gold and its place in wealth management strategy.

EFG Independent Financial Advisers Ltd has 13 advisers and offices in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and
London. It has its roots in Birmingham and Wolverhampton, having been formed from a merger of long-established Midlands firms EFG Ashby London and EFG Platts Flello to form the IFA business of EFG Private Bank.
