Companies wishing to nominate themselves and their staff for the 2014 Birmingham Post Business Awards still have time to enter.

The deadline for the free annual awards has been extended by another week - meaning you have until 5pm on Friday 3 October to perfect your nominations and send them in.

The event is heading back to the International Convention Centre on November 26 and is expected to attract 800 businesspeople, making it the largest Birmingham Post Business Awards ever.

The prizes span 12 different categories and this year the theme is around Birmingham Bounces Back, to recognise a strong year for the region.

They are:

- Company of the Year

- Outstanding Professional

- Business Startup

- Communications

- Environmental

- Export

- Finance

- Legal

- Manufacturing

- Property

- Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

- Technology and Digital

The awards have their own dedicated website at www.bpbusinessawards.co.uk and are being celebrated across the Post's platforms, with companies urged to share success stories on Twitter under the hashtag #brumbouncesback.

Those who apply will get the chance to share their successes in a special post-awards supplement in the Birmingham Post.

This year, there is a great line-up of sponsors including Turkish Airlines, Birmingham Airport, Ikea, Jaguar Land Rover, Jerroms Accountants, JLL and Wesleyan.

If you would like to enter, goes to the awards website for more information and to fill in an online nomination form and watch our launch video below.
