The deadline is fast approaching for BirminghamLive's 30 Under 30 campaign.

The initiative is celebrating the most inspiring young people who are living, working and making a difference in Birmingham.

The deadline for submissions is Friday March 29 so time is running out to put forward a nomination for someone you think is worthy of being part of our 30 Under 30 Class of 2019.

The inaugural list last year was an eclectic mix of people working and volunteering in sectors as diverse as politics, business, scientific research, health, education and film making.

We are hoping this year's cohort will be a match for those we met last year, exemplifying the best Birmingham has to offer and cementing its status as the youngest and one of the most vibrant cities in Europe.
