Viva Brazil opened in the grade II listed building, 7 Bennetts Hill, following a dramatic transformation into an authentic Brazilian steak house complete with an open barbecue grill and luxury bar. The 200-seat capacity restaurant is set across two floors, each with its own unique style and décor.

Founder and managing director of the Viva Brazil restaurant chain, Andy Aldrich, said: “We are in the perfect location for business and leisure users alike, whether it’s a lunch time meal or post work drinks, and Birmingham has incredible untapped potential to become our leading restaurant across the country.

“We wanted to make some noise, and bring the fun and flavour of Brazil to Birmingham, and that’s exactly what we did with the launch.”

Viva Brazil first opened in Liverpool in September 2010. Following its tremendous success, restaurants have since launched in Glasgow and Cardiff. The chain opened a further site in Newcastle last summer, with Birmingham becoming its fifth location.
